Take our kits beyond the box with these unit decals to create more aircraft from the Battle of Britain! By combining these decals with the ones supplied in a kit, you can create many new aircraft schemes.
The set includes markings for Bf109E’s from Jagdgeschwader 2, one of the key Luftwaffe units that saw action during the Battle of Britain, with a comprehensive set of staff symbols and aircraft numbers so that you can create a Bf109 from any Staffel of any Gruppe within JG 2 during 1940.
For Spitfires, the sheet contains 30” fuselage squadron codes, which was a common size applied to the slim fuselages of Spitfires. There are also the various common sizes of fuselage Type A and Type A1 roundel that were factory applied or modified in squadrons or maintenance units. Using combinations of these markings, you can create Spitfires as they would have been between 1939 and 1941, during the period where all RAF fighter aircraft had Medium Sea Grey squadron codes.
These decals are printed in the UK using full colour digital decal printing technology.
